When Robert Donat's character meets Pamela (Madeleine Carroll) for the first time, she's reading a book and wearing round glasses. To confuse his pursuers, he starts kissing her passionately. This causes her glasses to fall off. Pamela isn't seen in glasses anymore after this scene. One of professor Jordan's daughters, Patricia (possibly a part by Elizabeth Inglis), is wearing round spectacles as well. Others in glasses include Ivor Barnard as the chairman who introduces Richard Hannay (Donat) in the political meeting and one of the commercial travellers in the Flying Scotsman. The latter is wearing steel rimmed spectacles. |
